Following a publication in the New Vision on Monday, 13 April 2026, titled “Govt Revokes 275 Labour Export Firms’ Licences,” Q-Sourcing Limited has received a number of inquiries from members of the public and stakeholders seeking clarification on its status in relation to entities reportedly de-licensed from external labour recruitment.
Q-Sourcing Limited would like to clarify that in 2019, the company made a deliberate business decision to exit the external labour recruitment market, also known as labour export, as this was no longer aligned with its brand identity strategy in Uganda.
Notwithstanding this decision, Q-Sourcing Limited continues to hold and maintain a valid local recruitment licence, which it has had since its establishment in 2006. The company is a Private Employment Agency, authorized to undertake local recruitment only.
Q-Sourcing Limited is also registered on the PAU NSD under licence number NSD-10025/17/103.
The company’s current local recruitment licence numbers are:
- 2025/2026/MGLSD/375
- 2025/2026/MGLSD/376
Status: Valid and active
Q-Sourcing remains committed to regulatory compliance, ethical recruitment, and uninterrupted service delivery to its clients and stakeholders.
