Q-Sourcing Uganda recently took part in the Q1 TotalEnergies Supplier Development Workshop, which focused on preparing suppliers for the production phase through stronger industry standards and compliance.
The session emphasized the importance of supplier readiness as the sector moves closer to production, with discussions centered on the standards, systems, and compliance requirements businesses need to meet in order to participate effectively.
A presentation by the Petroleum Authority of Uganda also highlighted some of the opportunities expected in the production phase, including logistics and site services, maintenance, mechanical works, electrical, instrumentation, and other related areas.
One of the key highlights of the day was the recognition of companies that received Integrated Management Systems (IMS) certifications sponsored by TEPU, marking an important step in strengthening supplier capacity and preparedness.

At Q-Sourcing Uganda, we value opportunities like these that help businesses stay informed, raise standards, and position themselves for growth within Uganda’s evolving energy sector.
