We are proud to announce a new partnership with the Airtel Africa Foundation to support outstanding young Ugandans pursuing careers in technology. Through this collaboration, 20 first-year undergraduate students from financially constrained households will receive full Tech Scholarships to pursue studies in high-demand digital fields.
The Airtel Africa Foundation University Tech Scholarship is designed to nurture talent, close opportunity gaps, and accelerate the growth of Uganda’s emerging tech workforce. As organisations increasingly rely on digital solutions, data-driven decision-making, and advanced technologies, the need for skilled technology professionals has never been more urgent. This programme exists to ensure that financially disadvantaged yet brilliant students can access world-class training and fully focus on their academic journey.
What the Scholarship Covers
The fellowship provides comprehensive support to each selected student, including:
-
Tuition coverage
-
Accommodation
-
Academic materials
-
A fixed stipend to support core course requirements
Eligible students must be in their first year and enrolled in any of the following fields:
Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Technology, Data Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Artificial Intelligence.

These are the very skills that will define Uganda’s digital future, and Q-Sourcing Servtec is honoured to help shape the next generation of innovators who will drive transformation in our communities and industries.
For years, Q-Sourcing Servtec has been committed to building East Africa’s future through smarter people, processes, and systems. Our work across multiple sectors has shown us firsthand the importance of developing local talent, especially in high-growth fields like technology.
Partnering with Airtel Africa Foundation on this initiative aligns directly with our focus:
to enable individuals and organisations to unlock their potential, thrive, and contribute meaningfully to economic development.
This scholarship is a pathway for bright young minds to access opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach. It is an investment in Uganda’s digital transformation and a reinforcement of our belief that talent exists everywhere, but opportunity does not. Initiatives like this help bridge that gap.
