Position Overview

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and motivating the sales team to achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and build strong customer relationships. This role requires strategic planning, team leadership, and execution of sales initiatives to drive sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Planning
    • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
    • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives.
    • Set clear performance goals and monitor progress.
    • Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, feedback, and recognition.
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
    • Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize profitability.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve escalated issues promptly.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting
    • Track sales metrics and prepare regular performance reports.
    • Present insights and recommendations to senior management.
    • Use CRM tools to manage pipeline and monitor team activities.
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align strategies.
    • Provide feedback to product development based on customer insights.
    • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is an added advantage
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales leadership, preferably
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and CRM software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team.
  • Results-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
