Q-Sourcing Tanzania Limited is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our Tanzania based client, we are looking for a competent and experienced Truck and Low-bed Truck Operator.
JOB PURPOSE.
To safely operate rigid trucks and low-bed trailers for transporting machinery, equipment, materials, and supplies between sites, workshops, and depots.
POSITION IN THE COMPANY
Reports To: Workshop Supervisor / Workshop Manager
Location: MUST BE WILLINGLY TO WORK IN NGERENGERE MOROGORO
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transport heavy equipment, implements, and materials using trucks and low-bed trailers.
- Secure loads correctly and comply with road safety and load regulations.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections (brakes, tires, lights, fluids, coupling systems).
- Report defects and arrange timely maintenance with the workshop.
- Maintain trip logs, fuel records, and load manifests accurately.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience driving heavy trucks and low-bed trailers.
- Valid heavy vehicle license appropriate to the class of truck and trailer.
- Clean driving record and strong safety consciousness.
