Q-Sourcing Limited, trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec, is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our Tanzania based client, we are looking for a competent and experienced Field Promoter – Vegetable Seeds
Location: Coastal area
Role Purpose:
To promote vegetable seed products, support sales growth, strengthen distributor engagement, and provide market intelligence through field-based marketing activities and farmer outreach programs.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Marketing and sales of vegetable seeds within the assigned territory.
- Establish and manage demonstration plots for vegetable seed products.
- Train farmers and other stakeholders on vegetable seed products and related agronomic practices.
- Support distributors through the promotion of vegetable seed products.
- Compile and submit weekly reports summarizing marketing and sales activities.
- Monitor changes in the market environment, anticipate market trends, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Periodically prepare market intelligence reports summarizing competitor activities, sales trends, and market prices.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications / Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agribusiness, Agricultural Extension, or a related field.
- Experience in agricultural sales, marketing, or extension services is an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies
- Sales and marketing skills.
- Good communication and training skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Ability to prepare reports and analyze market information.
- Ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
ADDED ADVANTAGE
- Basic computer skills
- Good level in English recommended, both written & spoken.
