On behalf of our client TOTAL Energies, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Joint Ventures Administrator to work in Uganda

Reports to: Joint Ventures Coordinator

Directions: Business Development

Location: Kampala

Activities

The position holder shall have the following responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the follow up of the company’s fulfillment of the contractual, statutory and regulatory obligations.
  • Organize statutory meetings and engagements with the Authorities for the Tilenga Project.
  • Supports the preparation, submission, presentation and approval of the annual Work Program and Budget for Tilenga project with the Authorities.
  • Prepares minutes/highlights emanating out of the statutory meetings and engagements with Authorities for the Tilenga Project.
  • Ensures that the minutes from meetings with Authorities in respect to the Tilenga project are fully approved by all stakeholders.
  • Coordinates the follow up and closure of all matters/request for approvals under discussions with the Authorities in respect to the Tilenga Project.
  • Coordinates engagements between the Organization, JVPs and Authorities with respect to the specific departments assigned to them at a technical level
  • Follows up WP&B performance with the technical and finance teams and organizes Project progress update meetings with authorities. And in case additional budgets are required; they ensure that the respective requests and approvals are submitted and obtained from Authorities in time

Required Qualifications

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or legal or business & administration or economics.

Experience:

  • The job holder must have a sound technical or business professional experience of 1 to 3 years in Oil and/or Gas business
  • French would be an advantage
  • Reliability, accuracy and autonomy
  • Flexibility and full dedication to the job are essential
  • Proactive, very dynamic; active team worker and spirit of initiatives
