 On behalf of our client EACOP, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Logistics Officer to work at site in  Uganda

MISSIONS / JOB DIMENSIONS
The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) Project involves the construction and operation of a buried, cross-border pipeline to transport crude oil from the Lake Albert area in Uganda to the eastern coast of Tanzania for export to international markets.
The Logistics Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring logistics activities within Uganda to ensure safe, cost-effective and timely movement of personnel, materials, equipment and services supporting EACOP operations and contractors.
ACTIVITIES
  • Coordinate transportation and distribution activities across EACOP Uganda sites.
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, camp and site access logistics.
  • Track material deliveries and maintain logistics records.
  • Support customs, importation and freight forwarding processes.
  • Liaise with vendors, transporters and service providers.
  • Prepare logistics performance reports and KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, security and company standards.
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
The Logistics Officer operates in a dynamic, multi-site and cross-border project environment, supporting the safe, efficient and timely movement of personnel, materials, equipment and services across EACOP Uganda operations.
This role requires close coordination with internal teams, contractors, transporters, vendors and other service providers, while ensuring compliance with HSE, security, logistics and company requirements. The position may involve coordination of travel, accommodation, site access, material deliveries, customs and freight-forwarding activities, often within time-sensitive operational requirements.

  • Efficient logistics support to operations.
  • Accurate reporting and documentation.
  • Timely movement of personnel and materials.
  • Compliance with EACOP HSE and logistics procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Professional certification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant logistics experience, preferably in Oil & Gas, Infrastructure or EPC projects.
