On behalf of our client, a leading company in the Security Industry, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Riders Supervisor to work in Nairobi, Kenya.
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Riders Supervisor to oversee and coordinate a team of riders, ensuring timely, safe, and efficient delivery of services. The ideal candidate has prior experience managing riders, holds a valid driving license, and is aged 35 years and above.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the rider team, including scheduling and route allocation.
- Prepare duty rosters and ensure full coverage of shifts and delivery schedules.
- Monitor rider performance, punctuality, and adherence to safety and traffic regulations.
- Conduct rider briefings and train riders on protocols, safety, and customer service.
- Track and document deliveries, incidents, and rider attendance accurately.
- Address operational issues and rider concerns promptly, escalating complex matters when necessary.
- Ensure riders maintain their motorcycles/vehicles and hold valid licences and documentation.
- Submit daily, weekly, and performance reports to management.
- Respond to client inquiries and service issues related to rider operations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in rider or field operations, with 1–2 years of supervising riders.
- Aged 35 years and above.
- Valid driving license (motorcycle and/or vehicle).
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
