Position Overview

The Finance Officer will play a critical role in managing financial operations for Q Sourcing Servtec Ltd in South Sudan. This position ensures compliance with both local statutory requirements and Q Sourcing Servtec’s regional financial policies. The officer will support business operations by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and advising management on financial performance and risks.

Key Responsibilities

            Financial Management & Reporting

•          Maintain accurate accounting records in line with IFRS and company policies.

•          Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.

•          Monitor cash flow and ensure timely reconciliations of bank accounts.

            Budgeting & Forecasting

•          Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts for South Sudan operations.

•          Track budget utilization and provide variance analysis to management.

            Compliance & Audit

•          Ensure compliance with South Sudan tax laws, labor regulations, and statutory filings.

•          Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries.

            Payroll & Disbursements

•          Oversee payroll processing for staff in South Sudan, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

•          Manage vendor payments and staff reimbursements in line with company procedures.

            Financial Analysis & Advisory

•          Provide insights into financial performance to support operational and strategic decisions.

•          Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

•          Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

•          Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.

•          Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in finance or accounting, preferably in South Sudan or East Africa.

•          Strong knowledge of South Sudan tax laws and regulatory environment.

•          Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

•          Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
