On behalf of our client in the manufacturing sector we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Boiler Operator Technician to work at site.
Job Title: Boiler Operator technician
Reports to: Production lead
Location: Njeru, Uganda
Job Purpose
This job holder responsible for supporting the production process in boiler system and conduct daily operational and maintain machine repair.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Operates and maintain boiler machine and the support system to ensure production process with conduct the daily check list.
- Controls fuel usage to make low-cost production
- Ensure the production process runs according to standard operational procedures (SOP)
- Report any problems in the production process to the supervisor
- Ensure work environment always clean
- Applies the health, safety, and environment procedures in work unit
- Work safely according to work procedures
- Take corrective action when encountering unsafe conditions or unsafe acts and report them to superiors.
- Perform maintenance of the machines used including safety systems & machine reliability according to regulations
