This is a high-impact role requiring a visionary yet hands-on leader with strong business acumen and deep alignment with the Sinapis’s Christ-centered mission.

  • Align all program activities with the Organisation’s mission and core values.
  • Lead and mentor program staff, advisors, and consultants to maintain excellence in delivery.

2. Pipeline Development & Investor Relations

  • Build and manage strategic relationships with venture capital firms, angel investors, impact funds, corporates, and financial institutions across East Africa.
  • Develop structured processes to connect portfolio companies with appropriate capital opportunities (pitch events, curated introductions, investment readiness support).
  • Serve as the Organisation’s primary representative to the investment community, articulating pipeline quality and impact thesis.
  • Track and report investment outcomes and capital mobilization metrics.

3. Partnership & Ecosystem Development

  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships with corporates, NGOs, government agencies, and ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Position the Organisation as a credible, mission-aligned partner within Rwanda’s entrepreneurship and faith-based development ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with internal and regional teams to co-create initiatives that strengthen sustainability and influence.
  • Represent the Organisation at ecosystem forums, industry events, and strategic meetings.

4. Multiplier (Alumni) & Post-Program Engagement

  • Develop and implement the alumni engagement strategy to ensure long-term impact beyond program completion.
  • Foster a vibrant alumni community through events, peer learning forums, targeted communications, and advisory access.
  • Establish systems to track long-term business growth, capital raised, job creation, and community impact.
  • Facilitate continued access to mentors, investors, and market opportunities for alumni entrepreneurs.
  • Use alumni data to refine program design and demonstrate ROI to partners and funders.

5. Mission & Values Leadership

  • Embody and champion the Organisation’s core values: Relational, Excellent, Joyful, Open-handed, Innovative, Christ-centered, Eager to serve, and Wise steward.
  • Provide spiritual mentorship and encouragement to entrepreneurs where appropriate.
  • Actively contribute to fostering a Christ-centered organizational culture grounded in prayer, fellowship, and integrity.
