Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client, Worley Parsons Uganda, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Field H&S Advisor to work on the EACOP (East African Crude Oil Pipeline) construction project in Uganda.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain solid relationships and engage with stakeholders.
- Ensure thorough contractor HSE assessments and conduct evaluations and pre-qualifications as required.
- Facilitate Incident investigations and assurance with regards to actions identified.
- Implement and maintain an HSE programs
Qualifications and experience
- Degree in safety engineering or related subject is required.
- 5 years experience in oil & gas projects
- Contractor evaluations/ bidding processes
- Demonstratable management level experience i.e., H&S field supervision.
- Competency in written/oral communication
- Strong communication, networking, collaboration, and well-developed team-working skills, especially in multi-discipline and multi-cultural teams
- The ability to implement and maintain an HSE program in both Green and Brownfield environments.
- More than 10 years exposure to Greenfield environments in developing countries
- Facilitate Incident investigations and assurance with regards actions identified.
- Execute assurance activities
- Assist and support the Project by tracking project specific deliverables
