Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client, Worley Parsons Uganda, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Spread Supervisor (3) to work on the EACOP (East African Crude Oil Pipeline) construction project in Uganda.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervision of the day-to-day construction activities of the CONTRACTOR.
- He/She will ensure work is carried out using safe working practices and is completed in accordance with codes, standards, drawings and specifications.
- To make daily reports detailing activities and progress.
Qualifications and experience
- Degree in Engineering (Civil)/(Mechanical) or relevant qualification (HNC/HND) combined with extensive field experience
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience required in Oil & Gas Pipeline construction projects
- 10 years in similar position on pipeline projects
- Must possess construction experience in onshore pipeline installation projects.
- Staff management experience (knowledge transfer)
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to delegate & set tasks
- Advanced written and spoken English
- Computer Skills – Microsoft office,
- Competency in English written/oral communication
