Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client, Worley Parsons Uganda, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Supervisor-EIT Advisor (4) to work on the EACOP (East African Crude Oil Pipeline) construction project in Uganda.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervisor-EIT Advisor will be responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of pipeline fiber optic cable to be laid along with the pipeline corridor to carry Control, Electrical, Communication and Security Systems information between the pipeline facilities and the Control rooms.
Qualifications and experience
- Degree in Engineering (Telecom)
- A minimum of 15 years in telecom industry with at least 10 years in the construction of onshore pipeline
- A minimum of 15 years in telecom industry with at least 10 years in the construction of onshore pipeline installation projects.
- Staff management experience (knowledge transfer)
- Excellent communications skills
- Advanced written and spoken English
- Basic Computer Skills
- Competency in written/oral communication
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel as and when required
