Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client, Worley Parsons Uganda, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Journey Management Senior Coordinator to work on the EACOP (East African Crude Oil Pipeline) construction project in Uganda.
The QC Supervisor Coatings & Insulation reports functionally to the QC Lead and administratively to the Construction Quality Manager and has the responsibility of co-ordinating the day-to-day quality activities of the allocated Lot construction quality staff and CONTRACTORs regarding the compliance of coating and insulation installation site works
Duties and Responsibilities
- The Journey Management Senior Coordinator, reporting to the Journey Management Manager of the Journey Management Cell, is responsible to ensure that the required journey management systems are in place, coordinated and monitored efficiently.
Qualifications and experience
- 5 years’ experience in the management of a security / emergency / or other Operations / Control Room.
- 5 years’ experiencing in producing / maintaining / reviewing operational procedures. It would be desirable to have experience with IVMS systems and previous experience in managing communications with multiple communications systems simultaneously – GSM, satellite phones and VHF radio.
- Excellent communications skills in English language, verbal and written.
- Able to act independently without instruction in high pressure situations.
- Ability to use MS Office (word, excel, Outlook, Power Point) competently.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in record keeping.
- A high level of integrity and understanding of the requirement for all project personnel to follow approved procedures, without exception.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
