Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

On behalf of our client, Worley Parsons Uganda, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced HSE Training Advisor to work on the EACOP (East African Crude Oil Pipeline) construction project in Uganda.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To ensure the execution of a robust H2SE Training Program under the direction of the Project H2SE Training Manager throughout the project`s scope and lifetime.
  • Lead and advise assigned training staff.
  • Assurance delivery responsibilities for the implementation and maintenance of the training program throughout the scope of the Project.
  • Witness and evaluate Contractor’s training programs and associated media to be compliant. 
  • Facilitate and deliver training sessions as for new hires/ other training per the Training Matrix.
  • Maintain and enforce the Project H2SE Training Matrix.
  • Maintain records of all training and competency certification.
  • Build and maintain solid relationships and engage with Project Management and Project contractor management representatives.  
  • Participate and provide input to the development of targeted HSE Improvement Plans and associated support document

Qualifications and experience

  • A training related qualification, or 5 years demonstratable experience.  Formal HSE certification (e.g. NEBOSH) would be desirable.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a trainer   
  • Proficient facilitator and communicator.  
  • Have the ability to work independently
