Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
Q-Sourcing Servtec Group is looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Nurse to work in Kampala
Relationships:
The Nurse Supports the CMO in affiliate Management and all employees including dependents for expatriates, all stakeholders in medical services.
Activities:
- Receive patient as the first line consultation, perform the first treatment, call Ambulance and or COMPANY Doctor
- Manage the clinic orders, inventory, servicing, hygiene
- Activate ambulance transfer for clients requiring ambulance transfer from site
- Control and update the stock list of Emergency Medical drugs, sundries, and equipment
- Work closely with HSE department: plan of action, planned inspection, procedures, SOP
- Work with HR regarding Occupational Health (follow up, collect medical information, meeting with CMO and medical provider to improve the procedure, dashboard)
- Supervise and advice nurses working at the camps site under the responsibility of the CMO
- Refer patients if needed to external Clinics or CMO or SMO
- Manage/ Update the first Aid kits with Medical Provider
- Update procedures and report linked to medical and safety
- Implement prevention action (medical awareness session (posters, specialist meetings, intranet communication, vaccination)
- Plan the equipment maintenance, order equipment, drugs, and non-consumables
- Supervise trainings and drills linked with medical providers (ALS, Advanced Life Support)
Accountabilities:
- Comprehensive inclusion of national content in procurements and contracts in line with regulatory requirements, Company & Project strategy, and Company & Project national content programme.
- Keep up to date with activities, monitor and report on internal (Company & Project) and external (contractors) national content implementation, performance, and compliance.
- Effective, accurate and timely implementation and reporting of internal (Company & Project) and external (contractors) national content work program activities.
- Support internal and external stakeholders on national content related aspects.
- Support on other national content aspects e.g., work program activities, audits, method improvement etc.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of respective national content information on the shared drive (W) or as required.
Qualifications and experience:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in nursing
- At least three years’ experience in a clinic setting
- Experience in provision of emergency care
- Experience in supporting oil and gas related projects an added advantage
