Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

On behalf of our client in the Electronics Business, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Marketing Officer to work in Kampala Uganda.

Job summary:

Responsible for driving profit and promotes services and products through coordinated marketing campaigns. The Marketing Officer will also be responsible for conducting product research, establishing brand awareness, and improving customer relations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive sales initiates and achieve targets from existing as well as new customers.
  • Responsible for the fresh database creation, prospecting and lead generation conducting meeting/e-meeting, follow up with the prospects.
  • Responsible for business development, approaching new corporate and channel partner tie-up for travel related services.
  • Exploring and business development with corporate, traders, institutions and commercial establishments, channel partners, government establishments, industries, etc.
  • Maintain a database in CRM and daily activity report submission.
  • Effective coordination with various internal departments.
  • Exploring and attending the events and exhibition for business generation.
  • Ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Exploring suitable tender, timely reply and follow up.
  • Up keeping and sharing the latest development in the business segment.
  • Ensuring maximum customer satisfaction by closely interacting with potential clients and understanding the requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • The candidate should possess fair knowledge of the area locations, territory, and the city/country.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects & tight deadlines
  • Well organized, ability to manage multitask roles & prioritize
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, strategic & creative problem-solving skills
  • Good image & excellent communication & interpersonal skills face to face, over email or phone
  • Strong computer applications skills (Microsoft Word, excel)
  • Excellent general cultural knowledge
  • Willing to work in Pressure.
