JOB TITLE: Assistant Manager, Human Resources

REPORTS TO: Administratively to Location Head; functionally to Regional HR Head

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary role of this position is to work closely with the respective stakeholders to ensure the implementation of HR processes and procedures at the respective locations including ensuring HR compliance and risk management. This will include participating in preparing process documents; communicating, monitoring, and reporting on Corporate initiated HR projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Implements and ensures compliance with Company HR policies and processes in the location.
  2. Prepares and maintains HR reporting metrics; and status reporting in conjunction with the Regional HR Head and Corporate HR.
  3. Ensures compliance with HR processes and procedures at all respective locations.
  4. Drives recruitment and hiring initiatives in a timely manner to ensure adequate manpower resourcing in line with headcount plans.
  5. Coordinates implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in conjunction with the location team.
  6. Participates in implementation and action planning on Employee Satisfaction Surveys.
  7. Ensures the accurate processing of monthly payroll and submissions of relevant statutory returns.
  8. Ensures timely monthly coordination of employee engagement activities for the respective locations.
  9. Oversees and ensure employee grievances and disciplinary matters are handled per company policies, country legislations, and best practice.
  10. Coordinates the timely administration of performance management in conjunction with the stakeholders.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent course. Master’s degree preferred
  2. At least 3 years experience in an HR management role preferably gained in BPO/shared services
  3. Must be highly organized, have a keen attention to detail, and goal-oriented
  4. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  5. Excellent understanding of labor laws for the respective country
  6. Familiar with the Performance Management process
  7. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information
  8. Excellent interpersonal skills
