Position: Human Resources Manager

Location: Kigali, RW
Our client in the Tech Industry is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager who will be responsible for coordinating all human resource and administrative activities related to the company’s personnel.
The Human Resources Manager is a key member of the senior management team, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The ideal candidate will coordinate and evaluate human resources plans, policies and ensure programs are realised.
Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position may change and develop over time but will include the following main responsibilities:
● Support departments in developing and delivering strategic HR plans that fit with the overall business direction.
● Oversee and refine employee policies and ensure policy awareness.
● Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expense reimbursement, and vacation.
● Design and implement employee retention strategy.
● Assist with recruitment efforts, prepare employees for their assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
● Support employee opportunities for professional development.
● Manage succession planning of staff.
● Conduct performance reviews.
● Maintain affirmative action programs.
● Resolve conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, industrial psychology or equivalent.
● 3 years working experience in Human resources or people management
● Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with staff.
● 2 years working experience in knowledge and performance management.
● Ability to speak kinyarwanda is an added advantage
