About This Job:
Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client in the Oil and Gas industry, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced crane/top loader operator
Job Purpose:
Prepare outgoing shipments and receive incoming goods by loading and unloading trucks, trailers and shipping containers. When a vehicle arrives or departs the warehouse with freight, a loader checks route schedules and orders for accuracy.
FUNCTIONS/KEY RESULTS EXPECTED:
- Times and dates of shipment arrivals and departures
- Lists of items sent or received
- Number of items in warehouse inventory
- Product quality issues
- Changes to scheduled shipments
- Concerns for management to address
KEY CAPABILITIES AND EDUCATION:
- Minimum of O-level certificate.
- Driving License Class BCE and special class (Top loader/crane) stamp.
- Top Loader Operator’s Certificate or Plant Operator’s Top Loader Certificate and a stamp from a DOHSS recognized institution.
- A minimum of 3 years in a busy container depot
- Aged between 25 – 35 years.
- High standards of ethics and values.
- Previous work in an oil and gas industry an added advantage
- Times and dates of shipment arrivals and departures
