JOB TITLE: EHS OFFICER

JOB OVERVIEW

• The role will involve leading by example when supervising the health, safety and welfare of workers, developing and maintaining good working relationships, as well as coordinating and organising work operations.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Planning work to ensure the availability of plant, labor and materials
2. Allocating and monitoring the use of plant and equipment
3. Monitoring progress against the works programme
4. Working closely with the site workforce once building is underway
5. Monitoring costs and checking quality
6. Making sure the work meets legal requirements and Building Regulations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. AT least a degree in occupational health and safety with relevant EHS training certification.
2. NEBOSH certification.
3. Minimum 3 years of experience as an EHS supervisor in a busy manufacturing environment
4. Detail-oriented and highly safety-conscious
5. Ability to work under pressure
6. Excellent supervisory and people management skills
7. Excellent oral and written communication skills
8. Detail-oriented and highly safety-conscious
