Job Details:

The Store Human Capital Manager is responsible for facilitating key Human Capital activities on a store level. The role holder is also responsible for supporting employees with issues pertaining to general employee relations, HC policies and procedures and administrative requests.

Duties:

  1. Initiate recruitment requisitions and coordinate with the Head Office to fulfil recruitment requirements
  2. Work closely with Store Manager and Head Office to select candidates whenever required
  3. Coordinate and communicate internal transfers between stores and facilitate logistical requirements
  4. Participate in the on boarding and induction process for all employees
  5. Address employee concerns; investigate grievances and conflicts and take necessary remedial action to
  6. Manage employee relations
  7. Ensure the efficient delivery of HC services to employees, in cooperation with the Head Office
  8. Work closely with Head Office to administer the preparation of employment contracts to ensure that all
  9. Contracts released are in line with defined guidelines
  10. Ensure timely renewal of contracts for all the employees
  11. Participate in conducting exit interviews employees and oversee the handover of company assets
  12. Verify and validate payroll data and documents and carry out regular audits to ensure its accuracy
  13. Ensure the compensation and benefits are administered to all employees
  14. Ensure implementation of policies and procedures regarding hygiene, safety and security, for accommodation
  15. facilities in order to maintain adherence to organizational requirements
  16. Coordinate training programs with internal stakeholders and other training providers as per requirements to ensure employee talent development
  17. Ensure training programs and initiatives contribute to the progress of the stores’ customer service level
  18. Assist in implementation of the performance management process by setting objectives, monitoring performance, and provide constructive feedback and provide inputs to senior management

  20. Provide mentorship for the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key roles
  21. Provide inputs on training needs and coordinate with the HC department to ensure facilitation of training requirements
  22. Develop and implement on the job-training for the team
  23. Provide inputs for the development of annual manpower plan
  24. Ensure the implementation of our client’s Retail’s corporate policies and relevant procedures

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or any relevant discipline
  2. A minimum of 5+ years relevant experience in a Human Capital supervisory role
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
  4. Ability to manage individuals and groups
  5. Ability to measure training effects
  6. Strong and pragmatic problem solving, along with analytical capabilities
