MTN Rwandacell Limited launched a smartphone device donation campaign entitled “Connect Rwanda” whereby individuals and corporations may elect to donate smartphone devices to individuals that have been identified as underprivileged and who would benefit from being connected through a smartphone device.
The campaign had an interesting twist on Twitter, where an individual would donate a smart phone or a number of smart phones and then challenge the next person, usually a friend, acquaintance or a prominent member in their circles to do the same i.e. to donate and then challenge the next person. As the campaign gathered momentum, the Q-Sourcing Servtec group managing Partner Steven Kinuka was challenged as well and he gladly accepted the challenge.

Q-Sourcing Servtec Rwanda donated 10 smartphones and Steven personally donated 3 phones.
Charitable contributions have numerous benefits, but the most important one is obvious: you should give back to your community. Thank you MTN Rwanda for the initiative as technology and mobile communication is the future to which each person should have access.
